In Monday's class I had learnt about how to rub colors on different surfaces to make a hybrid animal

This was my artwork that I had created I had used a different variety of tools in Adobe Photoshop to change the picture up such as for the brightness and contrast levels I had used +35 and –26 to get this faded effect to it whereas, for the color balance I had used different types of colors to find the perfect one I ended up using -33 to get the blue Hugh light to it I also used +37 to get a greenish blue color to it.

My collage

On Monday's lesson I had decided to use different pictures from different magazines to create this work. I had used a body of a worm and a head of a cow to make the head and body I had then decided to use these flames as a tail and a hat with horns as a decoration for the accessories not to mention I also used these flames to add a tail and a wing to it i also used a Champaign bottle for the ending of the tail and a hair magazine for the leg's and the ending of the tail.
Photoshop hybrid:

This Hybrid creature I had created in class was of an arctic fox and a cat. I used Photoshop to merge and add a forest lake background to it. The way I done this was by taking one layer for the cat which I had erased the body then added a wolf to a different layer and I had used the eraser tool for both images and removed the wolf's head. After I had done that I merged them all together As well as adding the background of the forest to make it look like the hybrid was standing on top of a mossy rock.
Tone and shading
Tone and shading is a type of design that helps give dimension and depth to a shape or object. Tone and shading is the depth of the color such as using black you can use depth by making it warm or using it softly to make it less shaded.

In these two pictures i picked out two different bones and sketched them into what they looked like, after i had sketched them i shaded in the bits that looked darker and added dimension and detail to the skulls to make them look similar to the original object.
A word describing my hybrid:
I had used Photoshop to describe my hybrid animal as cunning because the body of my hybrid is a wolf, and wolves can be seen as cunning because they are sly and cunning when it comes to hunting their prey. In Photoshop I wrote down the word then i had gotten rid of the background and added images to the word cunning those images i used was a bone and a fish representing what the animals of my hybrid would of eaten.

Evaluation:
What were your final or favorite items? (description of them) What influenced you to do this? (Quote some research/skills you like/strengths)
My final and favorite pieces of art that i have created was my digital Hybrid which was a wolf mixed in with a cat there were some struggles on figuring out how to do this using Photoshop and how to navigate where everything was. But there was also some strengths whilst doing it such as understanding how to find what pictures to use and how to import it into Photoshop.
Secondly, My final and favorite hand drawn art was the skulls that i had done this is because i spent my time on figuring out where to start and how to draw the skulls for example with the skull that is more of an oval shape i looked at the details and drew the outline. My strengths in this was the shading and the different types of texture.
How did you create them? Tools/materials/techniques/programs you used.
I created some of my art work by hand and also digitally in my hand drawn art pieces i used a wide variety of stuff such as pens pencils chalk water colors led and other materials whereas on the digital ones i used Photoshop to change the style and rotate all the pictures of my hand drawn art pieces.
What did you research? Was your research helpful (did it influence your work) and why?
In my blogger i had done a different variety of research on different people such as different artists who do hybrid art work. The research was helpful because it made me learn more about art and how it is created in different ways. It also influenced my work through hybrids because i had seen different hybrid work and it inspired me to do a similar type of hybrid art even if it is digital or hand drawn.
Were there any problems? What did you do to overcome them?
There was some difficulty in some parts such as my hand drawn work as it stressed me out a little to figure out how to do it and how to actually make it look pretty good. But i had overcome this by thinking of a way to do this yes there was a few mistakes but i kept trying and trying until i could find the perfect way of doing it.
What went well with the work? How well did you complete it? Did it turn out as you expected? How/why?
What went well with my work was how i persevered and over came the struggles. through out the work i struggled on how to understand what the tasks were and how to figure it out, but i had overcame this by asking someone to go into depth of what to do which helped me a lot. this helped me make my work pretty good and helped it turn out well.
What went less well? Is it messy? Not what you wanted? Not finished? Why do you think this happened?
What did not go well was how some of my digital work was rushed and messy and i think this happened because i did not really understand how to do it at first and was struggling to do it. I could maybe try to complete the work quicker and make it less messier.
If you were to repeat the process again, what would you do differently and why?
if i could repeat all of this again i defiantly would i would change the style and the way i had done stuff such as make it more presentable and less messy and would make it more neat and appealing to people who want to see my work
